- Parmesan cheese

How to make Steak and Shrimp Scampi:

Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, until done to your liking. Set the steaks aside to rest.

Sear the shrimp until cooked through. Remove, and set aside.
Place the last tablespoon of butter into the skillet, and reduce the heat to medium-low.

Leftovers will be fine for several days in an airtight container in the fridge. Warm them back up very gently though – you don’t want to dry out the meat or make the shrimp chewy.
