Put down that take-out menu you keep stocked in your junk drawer for occasions when you want something heavy and carb-loaded. That food will take way more time to get to you than making it yourself. Don’t think you can do it? Well, we have an easy step-by-step recipe for you today that will amaze you! Shrimp Fried Rice has yummy white rice that soaks up all your delicious juices from the shrimp, veggies, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

If you don’t have these ingredients right on hand, make it for the next day and see how your culinary skills have grown. Show it off to your family or keep it all to yourself while enjoying a relaxing movie night.

Shrimp Fried Rice is a recipe that is old as time and usually is a side dish but can be enjoyed as your main meal.

Where do most of the flavors come from? Well, that is from your salty and sweet soy sauce and sesame oil which has a strong nutty flavor. It brings a richness to your dish that you didn’t even know you could create on your own.

There are tons of delicious side dishes to make an appetizer kind of night. It’s a great meal to share with friends over a girl’s night and everyone gets to try a little of it all. Some of those options include; egg rolls, sweet and sour soup, dumplings, bean sprouts, wontons and so much more.
