Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a loaf pan with pam baking spray.
Step 2. Using a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt.
Step 3. Using another large bowl, beat the pumpkin puree, pumpkin ale and brown sugar until combined.
Step 4. Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients. Fold in the hatch green chile, and 1 C of the cheddar cheese.
Step 5. Scoop the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle the ½ C of cheese on top.
Step 6. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before enjoying!
