Meatloaf is a great combination of meat and spices, most often with breadcrumbs and maybe onions and celery. Either way, when you make this dish, the aroma is going to have the group running for the dinner table.

Why do I love Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole?
It is the perfect combination of two foods that you love. It makes dinner a breeze to make. You can adjust the seasoning to how you prefer it. Add a simple side of vegetables and the dinner is ready.

Are there variations that can be used?
You could leave the meat out and use beans or lentils. You can add in vegetables to create an all-in-one dish. Add in another type of cheese or toss in some red pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
- Milk
- Ritz crackers
- BBQ sauce
- Pepper
- Cheddar cheese soup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Uncooked macaroni noodles
- Salt
- Ketchup
- Onion powder
- Large eggs
- Ground beef
- Onion soup mix
- Garlic powder

Instructions:
Step 1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 9×13 baking dish well.
Step 2. Stir together the BBQ sauce and ketchup in a bowl.
Step 3. Add the ground beef to a separate large mixing bowl.

Step 4. Crush the crackers into crumbs, and add them to the mixing bowl with the beef.

Step 5. Place the onion soup mix, eggs, and half the bbq mixture into the bowl, and knead everything with your hands.
Step 6. Press the meat mixture into an even layer in the bottom of the baking dish.

Step 7. Place the remaining BBQ mixture over the meat, and bake for 30 minutes.

Step 8. Add the macaroni noodles to boiling water, and cook until al dente. Drain well.

Step 9. In a bowl, whisk together the cheddar cheese soup, onion powder, garlic powder, milk, and salt and pepper to taste.
Step 10. Toss the macaroni in the soup mixture, and add in 1 cup each of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Step 11. Layer the macaroni mixture over the meatloaf layer in the baking dish.

Then, top with the remaining cheeses, and bake for 20 minutes longer.

Step 12. Rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

How should this dish be reheated?
The Mac and Cheese Meatloaf can be placed into a preheated 350* oven and warmed up for 5 to 10 minutes. Cover the dish with foil to prevent the top from getting too crisp.
How do I store this dish?
When the food has cooled to room temperature, place it into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. You can store it for 3 to 4 days.
Can the Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole be frozen?
I do not recommend it personally, however, you can freeze this dish for up to 3 months. Be sure it is in an airtight container.
