Why do I love Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes?
This is a combination of two American favorites. When you combine these two you have the best of both worlds. It is an easy meal to make and it tastes fabulous.

What are some variations if there are any?
You can add mushrooms to the mix for what some consider the true Philly. Adding lettuce and tomatoes is becoming more popular on the Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches.

Ingredients:
- Ketchup
- Hamburger buns
- Worcestershire sauce
- Onion chopped
- Olive oil
- Green bell pepper chopped
- Taco seasoning
- Ground beef
- Cornstarch
- Shredded white cheddar cheese
- Salt
- Chicken broth
- Black pepper

How to make Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to broil. Add the ground beef to a large cast iron skillet and brown until a deep brown crust appears before breaking the beef apart.

Step 2. Add the oil to a skillet over medium heat, and cook the onions and peppers until softened.

Step 3. Stir in the meat, and cook until browned. Drain the excess grease.

Step 4. In a bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and chicken broth.

Step 5. Add the worcestershire sauce, ketchup, taco seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste the meat mixture, and stir to combine.

Step 6. Mix in the cornstarch mixture, and simmer until the mixture thickens.

Step 7. Spoon the meat mixture into the buns, top with the cheese, and broil for 1-2 minutes before serving.

- 6 Hamburger buns
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 tsp. Olive oil
- 1 Green bell pepper chopped
- 2 tsp. Taco seasoning
- 1 lb. Ground beef
- 1 tsp. Cornstarch
- 1 ½ C. Shredded white cheddar cheese
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- ½ C. Chicken broth
- ¼ tsp. Black pepper
