Lower Calorie Protein Energy Bites

Prep time: 20 min | Cook time: Overnight | Servings: 6

What you need to make these Lower Calorie Protein Energy Bites:

1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

¼ cup Honey

½ cup Mini Chocolate Chips

8 tbsp. Pb2 Powdered Peanut Butter

4 tbsp. Water

Mini Muffin Pan

How to make these Lower Calorie Protein Energy Bites:

Step 1. Mix together 8 tablespoons of PB2 powdered peanut butter and 4 tablespoons of water in a bowl until smooth and completely combined.

Step 2. Pour 1 cup of old fashioned rolled oats into a mixing bowl.  Add in ½ cup of mini chocolate chips.

Step 3. Drizzle in ¼ cup of honey. Mix in the prepared PB2 mixture.

Step 4. Stir all of the ingredients together until they form a thick mixture. If the mixture appears too wet or runny, you can add in a little bit more of the oats.

Step 5. Press a tablespoon of the mixture into each of the sections of a greased mini muffin pan, tamping them down until they are firmly packed. If you do not have a mini muffin pan, you can roll the mixture into balls and line them on a cookie sheet instead.

Step 6. Place the tray into the freezer overnight.

Step 7. Remove the protein energy bites from the mini muffin tray and store in an airtight container in the freezer to eat as needed.
