Ingredients:
1 ½ Lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Cut Into Pieces
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
2 tsp. Garlic (Minced)
For The Batter:
⅔ cup All-Purpose Flour
1 Egg White
½ tsp. Baking Powder
¼ cup Cornstarch
½ cup Ice Water
Salt To Taste
For The Sauce:
1 tsp. Sesame Oil
½ cup Water
⅓ cup Honey
1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
Salt To Taste
Oil For Frying
Sesame Seeds For Garnish
Instructions:
Step 1. Mix together the ingredients for the batter until well combined.
Step 2. Heat a few inches of oil in a deep-sided skillet until it reaches 350 degrees.
Step 3. Dip the chicken into the batter and place it into the oil. Fry until cooked through, crispy, and starting to brown lightly. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 4. Once all of the chicken has been fried, add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5. Add the garlic to the skillet and saute for 30 seconds.
Step 6. Place the chicken into the skillet. Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and pour over the chicken.
Step 7. Saute the chicken until the sauce thickens and the chicken is browned. Garnish with sesame seeds.
