Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Ingredients

  • Salmon filets
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Ancho Chili Spice
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Cajun Spice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Butter
  • Honey
  • Lime wheels for garnish

How to make Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400’ degrees

Rinse and pat dry Salmon.

Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste.

In a small bowl add garlic powder, paprika, chili spice, parsley flakes, and cajun spice.

Mix to combine.

Using a sauce brush lightly add the olive oil to the salmon.

Heavily season the salmon with the seasoning mix.

Lightly drizzle the fish with fresh lime juice.

Place parchment paper on a small baking tray or dish.

Place the salmon on top of the baking dish.

In a small bowl add the melted butter and honey and mix to combine.

Using the sauce brush lightly coat the salmon with the honey butter mixture.

Bake for 10 minutes and then remove the salmon from the oven and lightly coat again with the honey mixture.

Place back in the oven for another 7-8 minutes.

Remove from the oven and garnish.
