Cabbages and Sausages

This Cabbages and Sausages recipe will delight your little ones and your whole family.

Cabbages and Sausages

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 25-30 minutes | Servings: 6

Ingredients:

½ cup Bacon (Crumbled)

1 Head Cabbage (Chopped)

1 lb. Smoked Sausage (Sliced)

1 Onion (Chopped)

2 tsp. Garlic (Minced)

¼ cup Chicken Broth

3 tsp. Caraway Seeds

2 tbsp. Sugar

¼ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes

½ tsp. Seasoning Salt

1 tbsp. Bacon Grease

Instructions:

Step 1. Add the sausage to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until cooked through.

Step 2. Remove and set aside. Reduce the heat on the skillet to medium and add in the bacon grease, onions and garlic.

Step 3. Saute until the garlic has begun to soften.

Step 4. Mix in the chicken broth, sugar, caraway seeds, seasoning salt, red pepper flakes and cabbage. Still to combine.

Step 5. Cover and simmer until the cabbage has softened.

Step 6. Stir in the sausage and bacon and serve.
