Method
- Add the sausage to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until cooked through.
- Remove and set aside.
- Reduce the heat on the skillet to medium and add in the bacon grease, onions and garlic.
- Saute until the garlic has begun to soften.
- Mix in the chicken broth, sugar, caraway seeds, seasoning salt, red pepper flakes and cabbage. Still to combine.
- Cover and simmer until the cabbage has softened.
- Stir in the sausage and bacon and serve.
