In short, we took the classic recipe and added some spicier flavor to awaken your pallet. Including diced green chilis, corn, tomatoes, and cumin. Cumin is traditionally used in Spanish-style cooking with an earthy, almost citrusy flavor that blends beautifully with any protein. For this reason; we figured it would be the perfect addition to our version of Goulash, hence why we call it The Best Goulash.
Ingredients needed
1 lb. Ground beef
1 C. Uncooked elbow macaroni
1 Onion chopped
28 oz. Diced tomatoes undrained
⅔ C. Frozen corn
8 oz. Tomato sauce
4 oz. Can diced green chilis
½ tsp. Cumin
¼ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Black pepper
¼ C. Chopped fresh cilantro
Step by Step instructions
Boil the macaroni until it is done to your liking, rinse in cold water, and drain.

Add the ground beef and onion to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, and cook until the meat is browned and the onions have softened. Drain any excess grease.

Reduce the heat to medium and add in the diced tomatoes, frozen corn, tomato sauce, green chilis, salt and pepper, and cumin. Stir to combine.
