Snickers Apple Salad

This is a dessert I remember well from my childhood. It was so unique, so delicious and it tasted perfect with the combination of all the ingredients. We would generally fight over the last of it. I have to say that I would never have thought of combining Snickers with Apples, and it has surely set my mind to thinking of other ways to use this combination. The dessert is crunchy, chewy, and creamy all at once. A texture smorgasbord.

So good, sweet and salty, creamy and crunchy and so dang easy to make. It is perfect for any night of the week. You could also bring this for potlucks or pirates, even picnics and barbecues.

With the creamy and tasty vanilla pudding combined with whipped topping, all the flavors come together in each bite.

You could use a variety of Apples to give an even greater flavor profile. I know many that add miniature marshmallows to the dessert.

I would place the dessert in a large clear Glass bowl. When people can see all the ingredients, it makes for plenty of smiles.

Ingredients: 

• Instant vanilla pudding mix
• Miniature Snickers bars
• Cool Whip topping thawed
• Apples peeled and diced
• Milk
• Caramel sauce for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1. Mix together the whipped topping and the pudding mix until combined well. 

Step 2. Stir the diced apples into the pudding mixture. 

Step 3. Fold in the miniature candy bars that have been chopped.

Step 4. Drizzle with caramel syrup. 

Step 5. Chill for an hour before serving.

No, I would not advise or suggest freezing the Snickers Apple Salad. The thawing process will likely cause separation in the pudding.
