You know what I am talking about here guys! Those delicious ice cream treats that are sold at Wendy’s. They are ice cream but yet, not quite ice cream. The Frosty is a dessert that has that creamy texture, is sweet and so chocolatey. There are only a few ingredients needed to make this copycat recipe. You can save money and gas by making your own Wendy’s Frosty at home.
This recipe is made with milk, vanilla ice cream and cocoa powder. This is a budget friendly version of a long time favorite.
These can be made in just a few minutes so they are ready at any time in the summer, after school or before bed.
Is this going to taste like Wendy’s Frosty?
It does have a similar taste to a Frosty. I was surprised and quite happy with the way this turned out. I know there are many other versions, however, this is the one I found that tastes the closest.
Are there variations in this recipe?
You could leave out the cocoa powder and have a vanilla Frosty. Add Strawberry syrup to the vanilla Frosty for a delicious fruity Frosty.
Ingredients:
- NesQuik chocolate mix
- Vanilla ice cream slightly thawed
- Powdered egg whites
- Milk
Instructions:
Step 1. Add the ingredients to a blender or food processor, and pulse repeatedly until the mixture is completely smooth.
Step 2. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container, and freeze for 2 hours.
Step 3. Separate the mixture evenly into two containers and serve.
Copycat Wendy’s Frosty Recipe
Ingredients
- ¼ C. NesQuik chocolate mix
- 2 C. Vanilla ice cream slightly thawed
- 1 tsp. Powdered egg whites
- ½ C. Milk
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a blender or food processor, and pulse repeatedly until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container, and freeze for 2 hours.
- Separate the mixture evenly into two containers and serve.

How should I store the Frosty Copycat?
This is a dessert-type recipe that you would make and serve right away. If there is to be any storing done for the Copycat Frosty, it would have to be in an airtight container in the freezer. You could store it for 1 week.
