How to make Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork:
Mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.
Rub the seasoning mixture over the outside of the pork roast.

Stir together the bbq sauce and the Dr. Pepper in a bowl.
Layer the onions in the bottom of the slow cooker, and add the roast on top.

Pour the Dr. Pepper mixture over the pork.
Cook for 4-5 hours on high.

Remove the meat, shred it with the tines of two forks.

Return the meat to the slow cooker, and serve on buns.

You can make pulled pork in advance because it reheats well without drying out.
