Salisbury Steak Meatballs

Salisbury Steak Meatballs

This Salisbury Steak Meatballs recipe will become your favorite and you can prepare it as many times as you want.

Salisbury Steak Meatballs

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 20-25 minutes | Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. Flour

1 tsp. Red Wine Vinegar

1 ¼ cup Beef Broth (Divided)

2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

¼ tsp. Mustard (Ground)

1 cup Mushrooms (Sliced)

½ cup Onions (Chopped)

2 tsp. Olive Oil (Divided)

⅓ cup Breadcrumbs

2 tbsp. Tomato Paste (Divided)

1 Large Egg

1 lb. Lean Beef (Ground)

Salt And Pepper To Taste

Parsley For Garnish (Chopped)

Instructions:

Step 1. Place 1 tsp of the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute the onions in the oil until they are soft.

Step 2. Add ½ of the onions to a bowl with the flour, worcestershire sauce, 1 cup of the beef broth, the ground mustard, 1 tbsp of the tomato paste and the red wine vinegar. Whisk to combine and set aside.

Step 3. In a large bowl, mix together the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, 1 tbsp tomato paste, ¼ cup of broth, the remaining onions and salt and pepper to taste. Knead with your hands to combine, and form into 20 meatballs.

Step 4. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the meatballs on both sides evenly.

Step 5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and mix in the mushrooms and sauce mixture.

Step 6. Cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened.
