Pork Loin with Apples

Pork Loin with Apples

Prep time: 40 min | Cook time: 30 min | Total time: 70 min

Ingredients:

3-3/12 Lb Pork Loin

8 Apples Of Your Choice

1-2 Large Red Onions

3-4 Garlic Cloves

3 tsp Salt (Divided)

3 tsp Black Pepper (Divided)

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

2 tsp Cinnamon

3 tbsp Butter (Softened)

2 tbsp. Olive Oil

1 tsp Honey

Directions:

Step 1. Place pork loin in a bowl or large container and season with 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp pepper, and garlic powder. Rub into all sides.

Step 2. Cover and place in refrigerator for 20-40 minutes (or longer if you wish). Preheat oven to 425℉.

Step 3. Slice apples and onions and chop garlic. Take pork loin out of the refrigerator and add onions, apples and garlic.

Step 4. To that, add honey, oil, the remaining 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper and cinnamon.

Step 5. Place a layer of apples and onions at the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Put pork loin on top.

Step 6. Add the remaining apples and onions around it. Add about 1 tbsp soften butter to top of pork loin and break up remaining butter into pieces and put on top of apples.

Step 7. Bake for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350℉ and continue to bake for 30 minutes.

Step 8. Take out of oven and stir/toss apple and onion. Turn heat up to 450℉ and bake for 10 more minutes.
