Philly Cheese Meatloaf

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 12

Ingredients:

1 Onion (Chopped)

1 Green Bell Pepper (Chopped)

¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce

1 tbsp. Oil

2 large Eggs

2 lb. Lean Beef 8 Ground)

1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

2 tsp. Garlic (Minced)

1 tsp. Onion Powder

Salt And Pepper To Taste

4 Slices Provolone Cheese

½ cup Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. Saute the onions and peppers in the oil in a skillet over medium heat until softened.

Step 3. Add the ground beef, cooked onions and peppers, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste to a mixing bowl, and knead well to combine.

Step 4. Shape half of the mixture into a loaf shape in either a loaf pan or baking dish.

Step 5. Top with the provolone slices. Spread the remaining meat mixture over top of the other, and form it into a loaf, making sure the cheese is securely sealed inside.

Step 6. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove, and top with the shredded cheese.

Step 7. Bake another 15 minutes before serving.
