Nut Brittle

I dared to try this Nut Brittle recipe.

Nut Brittle

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 10-15 minutes | Servings: 20+

Ingredients:

½ cup Water

⅓ cup Light Corn Syrup

2 cup Sugar

8 tbsp. Butter

½ tsp. Baking Soda

10 Oz. Pecans Or Other Nuts Of Choice (Chopped)

Instructions:

Step 1. Add the water, corn syrup, sugar and butter in a saucepan over medium high heat.

Step 2. Heat until boiling, and then continue to cook until the temperature reaches 300 degrees, about 10 minutes.

Step 3. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the baking soda, and then the nuts.

Step 4. Spread the mixture immediately onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 5. Allow the mixture to cool until hardened.

Step 6. Break into pieces and serve.
