This simple low carb dish won’t win a marvel challenge, yet it would defeat all comers dependent on taste. Genuinely yummy! The blend of hamburger and sausage is an extraordinary base for the dish and includes so much flavor.
The rich Alfredo sauce is not only easy but is just the right amount for the recipe. Regardless of whether you aren’t on a low carb diet, this is a must-try low card dish.
We had this for dinner last night. It was so easy and a big hit for the whole family!
Ingredients:
Ground beef
Ground sausage
Italian seasoning
Onion
Garlic
Cream cheese
Heavy whipping cream
Parmesan cheese grated
Broccoli florets
Mozzarella cheese shredded
Chopped parsley for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Hamburger Sausage and Broccoli Alfredo:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, cook the ground beef, sausage, and onions until the meat is completely browned. Drain any extra fat.
Step 3. While the meat is browning, blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes and then rinse and drain well with cold water.
Step 4. Add the Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste, and the minced garlic to the skillet, and stir to combine.

Step 5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Place the cream cheese in the skillet, and stir until well incorporated and completely melted.
Step 6. Add the parmesan cheese and heavy whipping cream to the skillet, and continue to cook for another few minutes.

Step 7. Pour ⅔ of the meat mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Step 8. Top the meat mixture with the broccoli and then the remaining ⅓ of the meat mixture.
Step 9. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the casserole.
Step 10. bake for 25-30 minutes until browned and bubbly. Top with chopped parsley for garnish.

- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- ½ Medium onion chopped
- 2 tsp. Minced garlic
- 6 oz. Cream cheese
- ½ C. Heavy whipping cream
- ⅓ C. Parmesan cheese grated
- 3 C. Broccoli florets
- 1 C. Mozzarella cheese shredded
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
