- Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
- Red sugar crystals
Grinch Punch
Ingredients
- 2 quarts lime flavor sherbet
- 1 quart pineapple juice
- ½ gallon Hawaiian Punch green berry rush
- 2 pints 7-Up Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
- Red sugar crystals for decorating the serving glasses (optional)
Instructions
- Put the lime sherbet in a 2 gallon punch bowl.
- Pour in the Hawaiian punch, soda and pineapple juice.
- Next, put the red sugar crystals in a bowl.
- Dip the glass rims in water then rotate in the red sugar crystals, if using.
- Serve with a ladle or decant into pitchers.
Storage Instructions:
Keep leftovers in a covered container and enjoy within a day. The flavor will change a little.
Variations and Substitutions:
If you want to make this drink red rather than green, use red fruit based sherbet or pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda and fruit punch Kool-Aid. Alternatively add some red food coloring and use green rather than red sugar crystals to rim the glasses. Ice cream will work in place of the sherbet.
