I’m sure you have all the traditional ones covered. Chocolate Chip Cookies, Sugar Cookies, Blossom Cookies, and the other traditional ones. Make sure to save some room for these crunchy DoubleTree Cookies.
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 eggs
3 cups semi-sweet, chocolate chips
1-1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions:
In a food processor or blender add your oats, blend until fine.
Add the walnuts to your oats and pulse 4-5 seconds.
In a medium bowl add the ground oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
In a second medium-sized bowl add the butter, sugars, vanilla, and lemon juice. Cream to combine.
Add your eggs into a small bowl. Use an electric mixer, mix until smooth.
Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture and blend well.
Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator overnight.
Using a regular-sized ice cream scoop place your cookie scoops onto an parchment-covered cookie sheet.
Make sure to place the scoops about 2 inches apart.
Bake in a 350°F oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes. ENJOY!! Best served warm.
