Cream Cheese Squares Tips
Here are a few tips to help you make the perfect Cream Cheese Squares:
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before you start, otherwise it will be difficult to spread.
- If you’re using a store-bought crust, I recommend pre-baking it for 10 minutes before adding the filling. This will help prevent the crust from getting soggy.
- Feel free to experiment with different toppings! Some of my favorites include strawberries, blueberries, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts.
- These squares are best served cold, so I recommend refrigerating them for at least an hour before serving.
- And finally, don’t be afraid to have fun with this recipe! Cream Cheese Squares are a great way to show off your creativity in the kitchen. So have fun and enjoy!

How long do they last
You’ll need to refrigerate the cream cheese bars in an airtight container. They will last three to four days as long as they are kept chilled. They should never sit out longer than 1 to 2 hours. If you feel like they are going to sit out longer than that, you need to put them on ice.
Can you freeze
Yep, you can freeze these cream cheese squares without any problems. Wrap them up tightly in plastic wrap and store them in a freezer-safe bag. They will last up to three months in the freezer. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
