Crack Green Beans

Crack Green Beans

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Baking Time: 40 minutes | Total Time: 60 minutes | Makes: 8-10 servings

Ingredients:

5 cans (8 oz) green beans

12 slices of bacon (cooked to be crispy)

⅔ C light brown sugar (packed)

¼ C unsalted butter

7 tsp low sodium soy sauce

1 ½ tsp garlic powder

Directions:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. Prep a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Drain the green beans.

Step 3. Chop the crispy bacon. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Step 4. Add the brown sugar and garlic powder in a small bowl.

Step 5. Stir in the melted butter and soy sauce with the brown sugar mixture. Mix well.

Step 6. Empty the cans of green beans in the baking dis. Sprinkle the chopped bacon on top of the green beans.

Step 7. Pour the brown sugar/butter mixture over the bacon and green beans. Bake uncovered.

Step 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
