Ingredients for the Cake:

1 (15.25 Oz) Box Spice Cake Mix

½ cup Canola Oil

1 cup Water

3 Large Eggs

2 ½ cup Honeycrisp Apples (Chopped)

Topping:

½ C white sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 Tbsp steam sweet butter (melted)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepared 13 x 9 inch baking pan with baking spray.

Cake:

Add the cake mix, oil, water and eggs in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine all

ingredients.

Step 1. Fold in the chopped apples. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

Step 2. Add sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl. Stir to combine.

Step 3. Sprinkle the topping over the top of the batter. (Or if you prefer, spread the topping over the batter.)

Step 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. (Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake if the toothpick comes out clean the cake is done)

Step 5. Set aside to slightly cool. Cut into pieces and serve.
