California Spaghetti Salad is not the traditional type of salad you think of. There is no bowl of half-white and green salad greens with some typical salad dressing. Above all, this California Spaghetti Salad is not a boring meal!
Put down that premade salad you find at your local corner or grocery store. This salad is easily put together in under 40 minutes and creates between 8-10 servings so as a result, you have lunch or dinner for the week!
California Spaghetti Salad is great for a family dinner as a side salad, paired with an Asian-inspired recipe, lastly; can be used as a meal-prep plan for the week.

How can I adjust this recipe to be more of an Asian-style flavoring?
We are so happy you asked! Recently, we posted a Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry recipe that this side salad would work perfectly with. Firstly, change the spaghetti noodles to either chow mein, low mein, glass noodles, or ramen, and the list of substitutes just keeps going. Just make sure to cook these specifically to their instructions because most of the noodles mentioned have a quicker cook time. Secondly, add in some sesame oil which is used in so many Asian-inspired recipes. The flavor is unique with a slightly nutty, and robust flavoring. In conclusion; you could also swap out some of the vegetables for small corn, lemongrass, bean sprouts, cabbage, and anything you want to use!
Ingredients:
1 lb. Spaghetti noodles cooked to your liking, rinsed, and drained well
1 ½ C. Cherry tomatoes sliced in half
1 Cucumber diced
2 Zucchini diced
1 Red bell pepper diced
1 Green bell pepper diced
1 Red onion diced
1 Can Black olives sliced or diced
1 Bottle Italian dressing
½ C. Parmesan cheese grated
1 Tbsp. Sesame seeds
1 tsp. Paprika
½ tsp. Celery seed
¼ tsp. Garlic powder

Instructions:
Cook the spaghetti to your liking, rinse under cold water, and drain well.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the spaghetti, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, cucumber, zucchini, tomatoes, red onion, and black olives.
