Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Butter unsalted
8 Slices of bread with the crust removed
2 tsp. Cinnamon
⅓ cup Raisins
2 Large eggs
1 ½ cup Milk
¼ cup Heavy whipping cream
¼ cup Granulated sugar plus more for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1. Butter the slices of bread, and cut each one in half to form two triangles.
Step 2. Add 8 of the bread triangles with the butter side up into a well greased 9×9 baking dish.
Step 3. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon and the raisins over the bread layer.
Step 4. Place another layer of the bread on top of the first one.
Step 5. Add the remaining cinnamon and raisins.
Step 6. In a pot over medium heat, whisk together the milk and the heavy whipping cream. In a separate bowl, stir together the eggs and ¼ cup of sugar.

Step 7. Once the milk mixture is warm, add a bit to the eggs and whisk well.
Step 8. Pour the warmed egg mixture into the milk mixture, remove from the heat and whisk to combine well.
Step 9. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and let rest for 30 minutes.
Step 10. Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and cook the pudding for 30 minutes. Let cool, sprinkle with sugar to garnish and serve.
