The fast food place of every kid’s dreams. Normally, you probably just enjoyed a cute little happy meal with a plastic toy that you would save. However, we are grown ups now and need a lot more than just some chicken nuggets. As a result; you now probably enjoy a chicken sandwich, one of the specials they roll out constantly, or the infamous; Big Mac Sandwich.

Big Mac sauce is one of those secret ingredients that everyone has tried to replicate for years and even as close as we get; nothing truly compares to the original. That is; until someone found the perfect blend of ingredients and now it is available to all of us right in the comfort of our local grocery store.
For this reason, we have created a recipe that replicates the secret sauce, juicy big mac; but for breakfast. Crazy right? Well, once you take one bite you really won’t want to have a healthy breakfast again.
Introducing the Big Mac French Toast!
What is a Big Mac French Toast?
This recipe is truly a carb lovers dream, and a great way to spend a lazy weekend morning. It starts with homemade french toast recipe with hearty bread you traditionally would not expect from your soft french toast recipes. We needed it to be thicker to hold up the massive amount of ingredients included in your big mac. Toppings include; bacon. onion, cheese, and sauce. Since we brought a savory and sweet recipe into one; it is a flavor like you have never tried before.
Ingredients
⅔ lb. Ground beef
4 Slices of thick cut bread
2 Slices American cheese
Half an onion sliced thin
1 tsp. Olive oil
4 Slices of bacon
4 Large eggs
½ C. Milk
½ C. Heavy whipping cream
½ tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Big mac sauce (optional)

Step by Step instructions
Form the ground beef into two separate patties and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute over medium high heat until cooked to your liking. Remove and keep warm.
Add the oil to the same skillet and saute the onions until softened.
Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
Mix together the eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper in a bowl until well combined.

Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture and then toast in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy on both sides.

Layer some big mac sauce on the inside of the slices of toast if desired.
Place a burger patty on two slices of bread, and top with a slice of American cheese, some sauteed onions and 2 slices of bacon.
Place another piece of toast on top of each sandwich and serve.
