Method
- Mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.
- Rub the seasoning mixture over the outside of the pork roast.
- Stir together the bbq sauce and the Dr. Pepper in a bowl.
- Layer the onions in the bottom of the slow cooker, and add the roast on top.
- Pour the Dr. Pepper mixture over the pork.
- Cook for 4-5 hours on high.
- Remove the meat, shred it with the tines of two forks.
- Return the meat to the slow cooker, and serve on buns.
