Method
- Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium high heat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute until completely browned. Drain the excess grease.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle half of the thyme, garlic, onions and salt and pepper to taste on top.
- Spread half of the meat and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Add the worcestershire sauce and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
- Cook for 4 hours on high.
