Miniature Cherry Cheese Danish

Ingredients
  

Pastry:
  • 1 Can Crescent roll dough
  • Flour for dusting
Filling:
  • ½ tsp. Vanilla
  • 4 oz. Cream cheese softened
  • 1 Can cherry pie filling
  • C. Sugar
Glaze: 
  • 3 tsp. Milk
  • C. Powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Remove the crescent roll dough from the tube, and slice it into 8 equal slices without unrolling it.
  4. Place the slices on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Use your thumb to hollow out a walled indentation in the center of each pastry.
  6. Add a bit of the cheesecake filling to the center of each pastry, and top with a bit of the cherry pie filling.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Mix together the glaze ingredients, and drizzle over the pastries before serving.
