Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish well.
Blend together all of the ingredients for the brownies until smooth.
Layer the brownie mixture into the casserole dish.
Remove just the cherries from the cherry pie filling can.
Beat the cream cheese, ⅓ cup granulated sugar and egg in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
Fold the cherries into the cream cheese mixture.
Spoon the cream cheese and cherry mixture over the top of the brownie batter in the casserole dish.
Use the tip of a butter knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until completely cooked through.
Let cool before serving.
