Method
- Heat the oven to 300 degrees, and place the pie crust onto an aluminum foil lined baking sheet.
- Beat together the sugar and butter until smooth.
- Blend in the eggs and vanilla.
- Add in the flour, salt and buttermilk, and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust, and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
