Baked Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip

This wonderful recipe is part apple pie, part caramel cheesecake and part streusel. It’s a sweet, wonderful dessert which is actually a dip.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 can caramel apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Dippers to serve (crackers, cookies, wafers etc)

For the Streusel Topping:

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • Caramel sundae topping as needed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Beat the cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla, and white sugar until creamy and smooth, using an electric mixer.
  • Transfer the mixture into a 10-inch pie dish.
  • Spoon the apple pie filling on top.
  • Mix the flour, brown sugar and butter in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle this streusel topping over the apple pie filling.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Serve drizzled with caramel sundae topping, with pretzels, wafers or cookies for dipping.
