Key Lime Poke Cake
This amazing key lime poke cake is tasty, creamy and delicious. It makes a great dessert or snack and is really flavorful. If you’re new to poke cake recipes, this is a great one to choose.

- 1 box white cake mix and the ingredients listed on the box
For the Filling:
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- Zest from 1 lime
- ½ cup key lime juice
For the Topping:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Make the cake, following the directions on the package.
Let it cool for about 5 minutes.
Poke holes all over it with a chopstick or wooden spoon handle.
Whisk the cream, milk and lime zest for the filling, then mix in the lime juice.
Pour the lime mixture all over the cake, using a spatula to get it in every hole.
Chill overnight if possible or for at least 1 hour.
Beat the cream and vanilla until thick.
Mix in the powdered sugar and whisk until it makes stiff peaks.
Spread the topping over the poke cake and add lime slices to garnish if liked.
