Low Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Who doesn't love a delicious cheeseburger? This casserole dish captures all of the flavors of a classic cheeseburger but in an easy-to-eat form. The recipe was easy to follow, and the ingredients were easy to find. The end result was a hearty and flavorful casserole that everyone in my family enjoyed.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
  • 8 Large eggs
  • 1 C. Heavy whipping cream
  • 3 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. Onion powder
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Brown the ground beef over medium high heat. Drain the excess fat, and add in the garlic and onion powder. Saute another 30 seconds.
  • Layer the beef in the bottom of a well-greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with the bacon.
  • Sprinkle with the bacon.
  • Blend together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, 2 cups of the cheese and salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the casserole dish.
  • Top everything with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes.
