Cheese Steak Tacos with Buffalo Fries is a recipe that is sure to please any crowd. Cheese steak is a classic flavor that is always a hit, and the addition of buffalo sauce gives these tacos an extra zing.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Taco shells
  • ½ lb. Ground beef
  • ¾ C. Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 22 oz. Frozen waffle fries I used a bag of 22oz.
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 Packet Taco seasoning
  • ½ Onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • ½ C. Green onions chopped
  • 2 C. Shredded lettuce
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • Buffalo sauce
  • Sour cream and guacamole for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Layer the waffle fries on a baking sheet, and bake in a 400-degree oven according to the package instructions.
  • While the fries are baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the onions to the skillet, and saute until beginning to soften.
  • Stir in the ground beef, and saute until completely browned. Drain the excess far.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning, and simmer for a minute or two.
  • Layer the meat in the taco shells, and top with the shredded cheese. Bake for about 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
  • Remove the waffle fries and toss in buffalo sauce. Garnish with green onions.
  • Top the tacos with lettuce, tomato and diced avocado. Garnish with sour cream and guacamole if desired.
