Apple Fritter Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1 Granny smith apple peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Glaze ingredients:

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9in loaf pan with pam baking spray.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Using a standing mixer, beat the sugar and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until incorporated; add vanilla extract.
  • Combine flour and baking powder together in a bowl; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  • Mix milk into batter until smooth.
  • Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Add half the apples and half the brown sugar mixture.
  • Lightly pat apple mixture into batter.
  • Pour the remaining batter over apple layer; top with remaining apples and brown sugar mixture.
  • Lightly pat apples into batter; swirl brown sugar mixture through apples using a butterknife.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, using a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients until smooth.
  • Drizzle onto the loaf and enjoy!
