Victory’s Tater Tot Casserole is what every person over 30 needs after a night out on the town. We can’t bounce back as quickly as when we were in our early 20’s so something full of delicious carbs is our fuel to get our bodies back after that long night.
This recipe has it all! Flavor, portion size, easy assembly, delicious combinations, and leftovers that will last a few days without losing their robust taste.
We won’t limit this to just the late-night party crowd. Victory’s Tater Tot Casserole is also a great family weeknight meal that saves you time and money so you can spend it with your family.
This casserole has a little something to cater to everyone. Seasoned ground beef, gooey nacho cheese which has a wonderful balance of hot and mild flavors, summer corn, and everyone’s all-time breakfast go-to; tater tots.
Mix, bake, and forget it for an hour while you unwind from your hectic day. Enjoy a family meal together with easy sharing, and leftover’s galore.
All you need is just six easy and cheap ingredients to make a well-deserved meal. It may not look too pretty, but the flavor makes up for it’s appearance.
Can I substitute the meat if my family does not eat ground beef?
Sure you can! Ground chicken or turkey works great as a substitute and a tiny bit healthier for you, but that nacho cheese takes away any health benefits. Sometimes we just need to treat ourselves, right?
Do you have any other recommendations of ingredients to add?
Since this recipe is a random combination of ingredients already; you can pretty much add whatever you want. Some ideas would be peas, and carrots to form a sort of shepherd’s pie. You could also include salsa to gear towards a Mexican-Style dinner a little more. Including fresh spinach won’t hurt this meal either and adds some extra healthy ingredients without overpowering the already tasty flavors.
