Make this TASTY Creamy Cucumber Salad at Your Next Cookout!

  • Cucumbers
  • Salt
  • Vidalia onion
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ground black pepper
  • Vinegar
  • Dill weed
  • White sugar
  • Garlic powder

How to make Creamy Cucumber Salad:

Step 1. Put the cucumbers in a bowl with the salt and onion.

Step 2. Stir, cover with plastic wrap and leave it to sit for half an hour.

Step 3. Pour the cucumber mixture into a colander and let it sit over the sink for another half an hour to drain.

Step 4. Transfer the cucumber mixture into a bowl.

Step 5. Whisk the mayo, vinegar, dill weed, sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 6. Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and stir to coat.

Step 7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, chill for 2 hours, then serve.

Add a minced chili pepper if you want to add a hit of spice, or perhaps some finely chopped bell pepper for extra color.
