Light up that grill because schooooooooool’s out for summer!

The kids are pumped up for sleeping in till noon, staying up till all hours of the night, going to the neighborhood pool, running around the neighborhood scrapping their knees, and seeing all their cousins at your first family cookout.

Sure, we all love the traditional recipes found at any summer BBQ. The plate was piled high with juicy hamburgers and charred hotdogs, varieties of pasta salads, and those oh-so-delicious deviled eggs.

This year, let’s change it up a bit and wow the fam with this Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp recipe.

Juicy jumbo shrimp are marinaded and grilled to absolute perfection with a sweet and savory flavor of melted butter and aromatic garlic. We can’t just stop there with the spices, right? The Puckering flavor of lemon is squeezed all over your shrimp to highlight that fresh seafood flavor. Mixed with paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and brown sugar. Yep, brown sugar! So you know these Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp are going to be oh so delicious. The flavors might sound a little odd together, but trust us; the balance is spectacular!

Shrimp cooks super fast so you won’t have a line of complainers waiting to fill their plate once the smell wafts past them. Just marinate, grill, and serve. It is truly that simple and delicious!

How long can I store these Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp in the fridge?

As with any seafood, you really want to be careful with how long you let it sit in your fridge. We recommend only a few days, max three to keep the juicy flavor and texture.

Do I need to place them on foil on the grill or can I add the skewers directly onto the grill?

For the ultimate flavor, you want to add them right to your grill. Be careful to properly clean the grates and maybe spray some non-stick spray before you light the grill (that is important!) to ensure your shrimp do not stick.

Here is all you need to create your yummy and easy Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp!

2 lbs. Large shrimp tails on, but otherwise peeled and deveined

2 Tbsp. Minced garlic

2 tsp. Italian seasoning
