Strawberry Shortcake Shooters

Anyone who likes the taste of strawberries is going to love this sweet, juicy strawberry dessert. They’re so easy to make if you start off with readymade cake, and you only need a few ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 readymade angel food cake
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 carton heavy whipping cream
  • 10 whole small strawberries without stems
  • 1½ cups finely diced strawberries

Method
 

  1. Cut the cake into small cubes.
  2. Mix the diced strawberries with the sugar and stir.
  3. Let them sit for a few minutes then stir again.
  4. Divide the cake cubes between 10 shooter glasses.
  5. Top with the diced strawberry mixture.
  6. Add more cake on top then more strawberries.
  7. Beat the cream until you get stiff peaks.
  8. Top each shooter with cream.
  9. Garnish with the whole strawberries.
  10. Refrigerate until serving.
