Method
- Wash, peel and chop the potatoes into pieces.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat on the stove.
- Stir the potatoes into the butter.
- Add the nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar and salt to the skillet, and reduce the heat to medium low.
- Cover, and cook for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the vanilla once removed from the heat, and serve.
