Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease a bundt pan well.
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the cake, and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Add the butter to a saucepan over medium heat on the stove, and allow it to melt.
Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook until the sugar has melted.
Mix in the pecans. Pour the mixture into the bottom of a bundt pan. Add the cake batter on top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes before turning it out onto a serving tray.
