Meatball Pineapple Smokies

Some of the best recipes involve throwing ingredients into a slow cooker and forgetting all about it! This recipe teams both meatballs and cocktail sausages with peach jam and BBQ sauce and then, a little later, pineapple chunks. You will adore the combination of sweet, savory and a little spicy (depending on the BBQ sauce you opt for). This is ideal for any kind of event or get-together.

Ingredients
  

  • 32 oz. Frozen meatballs
  • 12 oz. Jar Peach jam
  • 14 oz. Package of cocktail wieners
  • 1 ½ C. BBQ sauce
  • 20 oz. Can of pineapple chunks drained

Method
 

  1. Stir together the BBQ sauce and peach jam.
  2. Place the meatballs and cocktail wieners in the bottom of the Crockpot.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over them.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Stir in the pineapple chunks and cook for 20 minutes longer.
