The combination of succulent shrimp with a crispy topping is one that never gets old. This is a full-flavored dish which is super-easy to make.
Cook Time 30 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

For the Shrimp:
  • 1 pound peeled de-veined large shrimp
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ stick melted unsalted butter
  • Juice from a lemon
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
For the Topping:
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Minced fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Put 2 tablespoons of the melted butter in a 13x9-inch baking dish with the wine.
  3. Put the baking dish in the oven for 10 minutes so the sauce reduces.
  4. Mix in the rest of the butter along with the lemon, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Now, add in the shrimp and stir to coat before arranging them in a single layer (it’s fine if they’re touching).
  6. Mix the topping ingredients together and then sprinkle over the shrimp.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes or until the shrimp are no longer glossy in the center.
  8. Broil for a couple of minutes on high or until golden brown on top.
  9. Sprinkle over the parsley if using and serve hot.
