Method
- Place the meat in a pot over medium high heat. Cook until the meat is completely browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the onions, carrots, celery, broth, basil, oregano, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup and salt and pepper to taste to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, and then cover and cook over low heat for 1 ½ hours.
