Cut up your top sirloin steak into bite sized cubes.
Place the steak into a large gallon size Ziploc bag.
Add ¼ cup of soy sauce or coconut aminos to the bag.
Pour in ¼ cup of lemon juice.
Place a tablespoon of minced garlic into the bag.
Toss in 3 lightly crumbled Bay leaves.
Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.
Close the Ziploc bag, shake it to mix the ingredients well and coat the steak. Place the marinated steak in the fridge for 30 minutes to 4 hours before cooking.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the steak to the skillet in a single layer. Let the steak sit for 1-2 minutes on one side without disturbing. This will give you a good sear.
Flip the steak to the other side for another 2-3 minutes, until your desired level of doneness has been achieved and the steak has a nice sear on all sides.
Enjoy!
