Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or baking mat.
Slice the crescent dough into 10 even slices. Place the crescent rolls onto the baking sheet. Use a small measuring cup and press down on each crescent roll, crevice for the filling.
In the bowl of a stand mixer add the cream cheese, powder sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Add 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the danish. Place a scoop of cherry pie mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Bake in the oven for 14 minutes. Allow the danish to cool for 8 minutes.
In a small bowl add the powder sugar, and milk. Whisk until smooth.
Garnish the danish with the icing as desired.
