Heat the broiler on your oven.
On the stove top, melt the butter over medium heat in an ovenproof skillet.
Once the butter is melted, add the broccoli to the pan and saute until the broccoli is just starting to become a bit tender.
Add the chicken into the skillet and the minced garlic. Stir and saute a few more minutes before removing the mixture and setting it aside.
Turn the heat down on the skillet to medium low.
Pour the heavy whipping cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese into the skillet, and stir to combine until the cheese is melted. Continue to cook the sauce until it has thickened.
Add the chicken and broccoli mixture back into the skillet, and toss to combine.
Top the mixture with the remaining mozzarella cheese, and place the skillet under the broiler for several minutes until the cheese is browned and bubbly.
