Sausage and Cabbage Soup
This has to be one of the easiest soup recipes ever. You only have to simmer the ingredients together in a pan and it’s all done! Also, it’s very low in carbohydrates so you can enjoy this and feel good about it!
Cook Time 40 minutes mins
- 1 pound cooked Italian sausage
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 chopped yellow onions
- 7 cups chopped cabbage
- 3 x 28-ounce cans diced tomatoes and one can water
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 bay leaf
- ¼ teaspoon rosemary
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Put everything in a pot and stir to mix.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
Discard the bay leaf and serve hot.
